John A. Scola

John A. Scola, 82, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, died March 07, 2013, at the Saint Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 25 years, coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A Veteran, he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

Prior to his retirement, he was a longtime employee of the Broward County, Florida, Sheriff’s Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sarah G. Scola, and his daughter, Gina Marie Albanese.

Survivors include one son, Paul Scola, and one daughter, Francine Thomas, both of Port Saint Lucie; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
