Jeraldine C. "Jerry" Cathcart

Jeraldine C. “Jerry” Cathcart, 95, of Fort Pierce, Florida, died June 16, 2012 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce.

Born in Sparta, Tennessee, she had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 76 years, coming from Wauchula, Florida.

She was a longtime member of Ruth Chapter #7, O.E.S. in Fort Pierce and was also a member of the Pink Ladies, and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include her husband, Richard J. Cathcart, of Fort Pierce; one granddaughter, Cindy Bruhn of Fort Pierce; two grandsons, Dudley Skaggs, of Sebastian, Florida, and Sheldon Skaggs of Gastonia, North Carolina; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Jerry Ruth Skaggs, who died in 1997.

Funeral Information

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 22nd at 10:00am at the Yates Funeral Home and Crematory, Fort Pierce Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
