Sigmond Strauss Frank

Sig S. Frank, 95 of Port Saint Lucie passed away February 19, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice Fort Pierce. Mr. Frank was born in Yonkers, New York moving to Port Saint Lucie in 1978 from Clifton Park, New York. He was retired from Montgomery Ward management after his employment of 45 years. Mr. Frank was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army as a Sergeant and flight engineer on B-24’s. He helped to develop radar during the war. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #513, Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elk #2658 and a volunteer who gave over 5000 hours at St. Lucie Medical Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include his wife Grace Sneider of Port Saint Lucie; son Gary M. Frank (Miriam) of Dallas, Georgia; two daughters, Marsha Bennett of Huntsville, Alabama; Irene Pinel of Troy, New York; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Memorial service will be held February 22, 2012, 10:00 am at Yates Funeral Home Port Saint Lucie with Rabbi Arthur Rutberg officiating.
